The Indiana Department of Natural Resources and Radius Indiana celebrated the opening of the next section of the Monon South Trail in the town of Salem.

The new section is five-and-a-half miles long, near the Deam Lake State Recreation Area.

The first section of the Monon South Trail is now open, running over a mile from Stetson Street to Freeman’s Corner in the town of Orleans.
