The Indiana Graduate Workers Coalition posted on Instagram Wednesday morning that the Department of Homeland Security revoked visas for “several” international students who are members of the union.

More than 30 Jewish Indiana University professors are demanding that leadership protect free speech, after the Department of Education’s announced investigations into antisemitism.

The college is the university’s largest academic unit. It includes the Media School, the School of Art, and the School of Global and International Studies.

Indiana University Bloomington Faculty declared no confidence in three university leaders: President Pamela Whitten, Provost Rahul Shrivastav and Vice Provost Faculty and Academic Affairs Carrie Docherty.

More than 900 faculty attended the vote Tuesday at the IU Auditorium.

Faculty will consider no confidence resolutions against President Pamela Whitten, Provost Rahul Shrivastav and Vice Provost Faculty and Academic Affairs Carrie Docherty Tuesday.  

Colin Johnson, president of Bloomington’s Faculty Council, announced the vote will take place April 16 between 2:30 - 5:30 p.m. at the IU Auditorium.

According to the document obtained by Indiana Public Media, the Kinsey Institute Special Working Group concluded the Institute can remain part of IU without violating state law using an accounting solution.
