Faculty of Indiana University’ College of Arts and Sciences passed a resolution Wednesday calling for trustees to remove President Pamela Whitten and Provost Rahul Shrivastav. Nine-hundred eleven of the college’s 1209 faculty members participated (75.4%), and the resolution passed with 86 percent in favor (Y 783, N 54, A 73).

Faculty also called on the board of trustees to repeal a new policy governing the use of Dunn Meadow, which police cited when they arrested 57 protesters last week (Y 852, N 35, A 25) and to repeal campus bans for those community members who were arrested. Both measures passed with over 90 percent in favor.
