The Bloomington City Council has rejected Mayor Kerry Thomson’s veto of its resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.

The college is the university’s largest academic unit. It includes the Media School, the School of Art, and the School of Global and International Studies.

Mayor Kerry Thomson says the resolutions take up a lot of time behind the scenes with dozens and sometimes hundreds of messages and meetings.
