Police say scooter rider did not have right of way

According to an officer reviewing dash cam footage of the collision, the car’s driver had the right of way and the rider did not appear to check before rapidly crossing left across two lanes into oncoming traffic.

The rider was traveling west on 10th Street when they were struck by a car in the intersection, according to IUPD.
