Nearly 4 Million Hoosiers Now Affected By Equifax Data Breach

Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill says about 100,000 more Hoosiers than initially thought are impacted by the Equifax data security breach.

Hill says the personal customer information of more than 3.9 million Hoosiers is affected. The breach lasted from mid-May through July and compromised names, Social Security numbers, birth dates, addresses and even driver's license numbers.

Hoosiers can check online to see if they're impacted. Hill's office is investigating the breach.
