Attorney General Curtis Hill will defend his law license at a disciplinary hearing beginning Oct. 21.
The weeklong proceeding stems from allegations he groped four women last year.
A state lawmaker and three legislative staffers say Curtis Hill inappropriately touched them at a party in March 2018. A special prosecutor declined to bring charges. But the state’s legal Disciplinary Commission filed a complaint, arguing Hill’s alleged actions – as well as his behavior after the accusations became public – violate the state’s rules of conduct for attorneys.

Hill denies he inappropriately touched anyone.
The disciplinary hearing before former Supreme Court Justice Myra Selby is set to take a full week, with about two dozen witnesses expected to testify. No decision will be made at the conclusion of the hearing, however. That comes later, from the state Supreme Court, based in part on a recommendation Selby will deliver in the coming weeks.
