Indiana University Police issued an alert Wednesday night for two alleged rapes and aggravated assaults from 2018.
According to police, the incidents were just reported this week.
IU spokesperson Chuck Carney says IU is held responsible under the Clery Act to report crime on campus.
“The notice was sent just to make the community aware," he says. "It’s our responsibility to try to keep everybody safe and that’s why the notice was sent."
According to police, in both incidents the victims met the alleged perpetrators through the dating app, Tinder.
Police know the suspects and both the investigations are ongoing.
