The Chocolate Moose Expanding To Nashville, Adding Coffee

A Bloomington staple for ice cream is teaming up with a local coffee manufacturing business to bring a new café to Nashville.

The Chocolate Moose is expanding and it's collaborating with local coffee roasters from Brown County Coffee. The new shop will open in what used to be a KFC and Taco Bell, a building that's sat empty for 13 years.

Come spring, the cafe will offer Brown County Coffee products, ice cream, and sandwiches. Brown County Coffee Founder Nick Schultz says that combination will help drive sales throughout the entire day.

Justin Loveless is one of the owners of The Chocolate Moose and he says customers can expect a local "Brown County" vibe, but more importantly quality products.

"People can really see a difference in hand crafted products that are built and made right here at home so I think with all of that continued support and you have to have a good product to provide, they kind of work together."

Loveless says he hopes to have the shop open sometime in April.
