Hoosiers Prepare For Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinal

The top-seeded Hoosiers (25-6, 15-3) get their first taste of Big Ten Tournament action today when they face the Michigan Wolverines (21-11, 10-8) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The Wolverines edged Northwestern in overtime on Thursday 72-70. The bracket aggregation site B racketmatrix has the Wolverines as the fifth team out of the NCAA Tournament. A win against Indiana would help their chances of grabbing an at-large bid.

Indiana is currently projected as a 3 seed on Bracketmatrix, and could potentially move up to as high as a 2 seed with a strong showing this weekend.

The team has already claimed the Big Ten regular season title, and Tom Crean was named Big Ten Coach of the Year earlier this week. Senior guard Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell was named to the first team All-Big Ten as well.

Indiana thumped Michigan 80-67 in their regular-season matchup onFebruary 2nd. The Hoosiers will try to keep the good vibes going as they wrapped up the regular-season on a five-game winning streak. Indiana vs. Michigan tips-off at 12 p.m.
