Indiana's U.S. Senators want a face-to-face meeting with the new head of the Department of Veterans Affairs after they say a previous request for information was never answered.
Joe Donnelly and Dan Coats sent a letter last month to then-VA Secretary Eric Shinseki asking for immediate verification as to whether Indiana VA facilities were using the same schedule and wait list manipulation reported at other facilities around the country.
Shinseki has since resigned in response to the on-going scandal.
Donnelly and Coats says they still haven't received a response from the Department, and now they want an in-person meeting with VA leadership.
