Freeze Warning In Effect As Overnight Lows Drop Into The 20s

Frost and flurries are back in the forecast as overnight lows drop into the 20s the next couple of days.

A freeze warning remains in effect from 4 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday for southern Indiana. A freeze watch is also in effect until Friday morning.

Weather officials warn freezing temperatures could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation. Unprotected outdoor plumbing could also be damaged.

Thursday night's low could fall to 23 degrees. Today's high is expected to reach 50.

Warmer temperatures return to the forecast Sunday with daytime highs at 67 degrees.
