Bloomington Man Charged With Killing Infant In 2019 Pleads Guilty

A Bloomington man pleaded guilty to charges relating to the death of his girlfriend's 2-month-old baby in 2019.

Bloomington Police arrested Dakota King in July of 2019 after his girlfriend's baby stopped breathing and was taken to the hospital.

According to BPD, King got mad at the baby after it spit up on him and forced the child's head into some pillows.

On April 27, King pleaded guilty to a count of neglect resulting in serious bodily injury, a Level 3 felony. His sentencing hearing is set for May 21.
