Indiana reported more than 1,000 COVID-19 cases over the weekend, bringing the total number of positive tests to 740,189.
The State Department of Health reported 683 new cases Saturday and six more deaths. On Sunday, they reported 595 cases but no new deaths.
As of Sunday, the state had carried out over 10.3 million tests for the virus including 15,397 new ones. The 7-day all-test positivity rate was 4.7%.
The department also reported that 770 people were hospitalized due to the virus.
According to the health department, the state has administered 4.9 million virus doses, and 2.4 million Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.

In Monroe County, health officials reported nine new positive cases Sunday. They have recorded 12,015 positive cases since the pandemic began.
No new county deaths were reported Sunday. Officials say 172 residents have died overall.
As of noon Sunday, the county had a 7-day all-test positivity rate of 3.2%.
The county also reported 232 new tests and 550,187 overall.
Thirty-six county residents were hospitalized as of Sunday.
