Bloomington City Outdoor Pools, Spray Pad To Open Saturday

Bloomington’s outdoor city pools are set to open this weekend after a year off due to the pandemic.

Bryan Park Pool and Mills Pool will open Saturday at 11 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. every day until they close in August. Admission is $5 per person. Children ages 3 and younger are admitted free. Different level season passes and fee waivers are also available.

A news release from the city indicates pool staff will continue to wear face coverings and will clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces. Face coverings and social distancing is being recommended for pool patrons.

New this year is the availability of the Bryan Park Pool lap lane for people with disabilities from 11 a.m. until noon.

The Community Foundation Switchyard Plaza Spray Pad is also scheduled to open Saturday.
