Health officials in Indiana reported 655 new COVID-19 cases and six new deaths Wednesday.
The Indiana Department of Health’s latest numbers showed 13,155 total confirmed deaths and 741,697 positive cases since the pandemic began.
The seven-day positivity rate is 4.8% Wednesday, and 810 Hoosiers are hospitalized with the virus.
The state has also administered more than 5 million vaccine doses, and more than 2.4 million Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
In Monroe County, health officials reported nine new positive cases and no additional deaths. County officials have reported 12,034 cases and 172 deaths since the pandemic began.
Monroe County's seven-day positivity rate is 3.2%, down from 3.6% Tuesday, and 24 people are hospitalized with the virus in Monroe County-area hospitals.
The county has conducted 551,080 tests for the virus.
