Health officials in Indiana reported 674 new COVID-19 cases and 19 new deaths Thursday.
The Indiana Department of Health’s latest numbers showed 13,167 total confirmed deaths and 742,353 positive cases since the pandemic began.
The seven-day positivity rate is 4.9% Thursday, up from 4.8% Wednesday, and 759 Hoosiers are hospitalized with the virus.
The state has also administered more than 5.1 million vaccine doses, and nearly 2.5 million Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
In Monroe County, health officials reported eight new positive cases and no additional deaths. County officials have reported 12,042 cases and 172 deaths since the pandemic began.
Monroe County's seven-day positivity rate is 3.1%, down from 3.2% Wednesday, and 20 people are hospitalized with the virus in Monroe County-area hospitals.
The county has conducted 551,505 tests for the virus.
