A Bloomington woman has been taken into custody in connection with a shooting on the city’s west side two weeks ago.
Samantha Glenn, 27, was located Monday night behind a church in Columbus, Ohio, in the same van she was last seen driving shortly after the May 21 incident in Bloomington.
A warrant had been issued for Glenn on felony charges of attempted murder and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
Bloomington police responded to a call on the morning of May 21 in the 600 block of West 12th Street from a woman saying a woman later identified as Glenn was trying to shoot her husband.
Before the police arrived, the 35-year-old man was shot in his hand and side. He was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim identified Glenn and said he and his wife had known her for several years.
Glenn is being held at the Franklin County jail in Columbus, Ohio, awaiting extradition to Bloomington.
