Health officials in Indiana reported 282 new COVID-19 cases and 11 new deaths Wednesday.
The Indiana Department of Health’s latest numbers showed 13,220 total confirmed deaths and 744,474 positive cases since the pandemic began.
The seven-day positivity rate is 4.5% Wednesday, down from 4.7% Tuesday, and 699 Hoosiers are hospitalized with the virus.
The state has also administered more than 5.1 million vaccine doses, and more than 2.5 million Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
In Monroe County, health officials reported three new positive cases and one additional death. County officials have reported 12,076 cases and 173 deaths since the pandemic began.
Monroe County's seven-day positivity rate is 2.5% Wednesday, up from 2.4% Tuesday, and 22 people are hospitalized with the virus in Monroe County-area hospitals.
The county has conducted 553,047 tests for the virus.
