The greater Bloomington area has received more than 3.5 inches of rain since last week. In the last 24-hours, Columbus has received 2.5 inches, Tell City nearly 2 inches, and Spencer topping out at just over 3 inches of rainfall.

With this recent heavier rain, some portions of the White River are elevated. Isolated flooding is still a possibility, but no threats of widespread flooding are expected at this time, according to the National Weather Service.

Beginning tomorrow, the showers and thunderstorms should subside, resulting in a sunny weekend with temperatures in the low 90s. Next week will be drier with sunny skies and temperatures in the lower 80s, as cold fronts move in from the north on Sunday night.

National Weather Service data indicates no probability of precipitation Sunday through Thursday afternoon of next week.
