The Monroe County Fair will resume this year after being canceled last year due to the pandemic.
Scheduled for June 28 through July 4, the summer event will feature carnival rides, a demolition derby, rodeo and motocross, as well as a 4-H show.

Admission for teens and adults is $3, while kids 6-12 can get in for $2 and kids 5 and under are free. A weekly pass for teens and adults is $10; for kids it's $5.
The pandemic was the latest in a variety of problems for the fair in recent years, including unpredictable weather, extreme heat and a 2012 swine flu outbreak.
The Indiana State Fair is scheduled for Wednesday through Sunday, July 30-August 22.
