Investigators are calling the fire that destroyed eleven boats at Patoka Lake in February accidental in nature.
Smoke from a boat in the “A” dock was seen the morning of February 19. Hoosier Hill Marina staff first responded by moving two boats from the dock creating a fire break.
The DNR, Indiana State Fire Marshal, Indiana Dept. of Environmental Management, and several local fire departments contained the blaze.
