Indiana Dept. Of Health Will Run COVID Vaccine Clinic At Monroe County Fair

Monroe County fairgoers will be able to get a COVID-19 vaccine alongside their funnel cakes and lemon shake-ups this year.

The fair runs from June 28 through July 4. Vaccines will be available July 1-2 between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.

According to a news release from the Monroe County Health Department, the Indiana Department of Health will bring a mobile vaccine clinic to the fair and offer both the Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer vaccines.

The vaccines are available free of charge. Children ages 12-17 are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine. Those 15 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive a vaccine.

You can register online for the vaccine at ourshot.in.gov or by callling 2-1-1. Walk-ins will be accepted while supplies last.
