The SBA opened two centers – one at the Monroe County Convention Center in Bloomington and another at the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce in Madison – to help people and businesses affected by last month’s flooding apply for low-interest loans.

The centers will be open tomorrow noon to 5 p.m., and Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through July 16.

Those who need assistance may call 800-659-2955 or visit the SBA website and apply online.

The deadline to apply for a disaster loan for physical damages is Sept. 7.

The deadline for businesses and nonprofits to apply for economic injury loans is April 7, 2022.
