Indiana health officials reported 285 new COVID-19 cases Monday, down from Friday’s 561 newly reported cases.

The Indiana Department of Health reported 13,525 total deaths Monday since the pandemic began. That's up from Friday's 13,514 total confirmed deaths.

The state also reported more than 761,000 positive cases since the pandemic began and 493 Hoosiers are hospitalized with the virus.

The seven-day positivity rate is 4.8 percent, up from 4.5 percent Friday and 4.3 percent Thursday. The state’s seven-day positivity rate has been increasing since a low of 1.9 percent on June 22.
