Two City Utilities Workers, Public Works Employee Report Positive COVID-19 Results

Two Bloomington city utilities workers and a public works employee tested positive for COVID-19 this past week.

According to a city news release, one CBU employee was identified as a close contact of a co-worker who had previously reported a positive test result.

None of the workers had close contact with the public.

City workers have reported 12 positive COVID-19 test results this month increasing the city total to 107 since the start of the pandemic.

COVID-19 was listed as the cause of death of one city employee.
