What to expect for photos with Santa this year

Taking photos with Santa in-person won’t be available at the Fountain Square Mall this year due to the pandemic, Jim Murphy, the president of CFC Properties, said.

“Unfortunately this year, because of the pandemic, because of the county health order, we're unable to have Mr. and Mrs. Claus in Fountain Square again this year and we're saddened by that,” he said.

Fountain Square is offering a 15-minute Zoom with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, according to its Facebook page, though remaining availability is filling up quickly.

Each session, which costs $20, includes a free recording of the session and an invitation to a 30-minute “Stories with Santa” on Dec. 23. Sessions can be scheduled  here.

Photos with Santa are still an option at College Mall from Dec. 3 to Dec. 24.  Reservations are strongly encouraged and, because Monroe County has a mask mandate,  masking is required as well.
