COVID at record levels, Scott Co. needle exchange ends | Indiana Newsdesk

Right now on  Indiana Newsdesk:

Cases and hospitalizations from COVID-19 are at record levels for 2021, and that has officials sounding the alarm. State health and business leaders continue to urge everyone who hasn’t to get the vaccine.

With the end of 2021 comes the end of Scott County’s needle exchange program after six years. But advocates of the program are working to start up an independent exchange.

And an increase in toxic algae blooms in the state’s water supply means you could end up paying more for safe drinking water.

Those stories and the latest news headlines from across the state, right now on  Indiana Newsdesk.
