The City of Bloomington reported five new COVID-19 cases among employees Thursday.
Since its last update, employees at the Bloomington Fire Department, Bloomington Police Department, and City Hall tested positive. The fire and police departments each reported one case, while City Hall reported three.

None of the employees reported close contacts but each person experienced symptoms before receiving positive test results between April 20-26.
According to the city, 306 employees have tested positive since the pandemic began.
