The Indiana State Police are investigating the death of an inmate at the Miami Correctional Facility, near Bunker Hill.

According to an ISP news release, correction officers found 23-year-old inmate Jamar Greer in a common area suffering from a stab wound to the chest.

Greer was transferred to a local hospital and later died. An autopsy conducted by a forensic psychologist yesterday confirmed the stabbing was the cause of death.
