Hopkins says some conservation officers are driving DNR trucks with over 200,000 miles on them.

A dirt bike crash seriously injured an adult and two juveniles in Brown County on Saturday, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources announced.

All three individuals suffered fractures but are in stable condition, Indiana Conservation Officer Brent Bohbrink said Sunday.

At around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Cody Cooper, 30, was riding a dirt bike with a juvenile passenger near the 8200 block of Highland Drive in a privately owned wooded area when it collided with another juvenile dirt biker, a DNR statement said.

Both juveniles were wearing helmets when the crash occurred, according to the department.

IU Health LifeLine transported the two juveniles to Riley Hospital for Children and Cooper to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

The incident remains under investigation by Indiana Conservation Officers.
