The City of Bloomington reported 11 new COVID-19 cases among city workers between Sept. 1 and Sept. 7.

Of those infected, four worked for Public Works, two for City Hall, two for Utilities, two for Parks and Recreation, and one for the Bloomington Police Department.

A press release said 10 of the employees had no close contacts, and the city would reach out to those who were exposed.

Since the pandemic began, the city has reported 438 positive tests from city workers and one death.
