A car crashed into The UPS Store on South College Mall Road in Bloomington Friday morning. Employees and police still stood on the glass-covered store floor around 11:45 a.m.
A car drove into the same UPS Store April 8, shattering a different end of the glass façade. The store is located in ‘The Shoppes’ on College Mall Road.
The store is currently closed, and Bloomington police are investigating the incident.
UPS released the following statement to WFIU/WTIU News:
“At The UPS Store, our top concern is for the safety of our customers, franchisees, and their associates. The facts are still being determined about the scope of the accident and our hearts go out to anyone who might have been injured. The UPS Store located at 885 S College Mall Rd will be closed during the police investigation and for a period of time following while the store undergoes repairs.”
