A Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputy died in a motorcycle crash Saturday night.

Bloomington Police are investigating a crash that destroyed several apartment complexes and caused minor injuries in downtown Bloomington.

One individual was pronounced dead on scene following a crash at Chambers Pike and Wayport Road around 8 p.m. Saturday.

A Bloomington man has been with charged with leaving the scene of accident resulting in death following a hit-and-run incident this morning on Ind. 37 south of Bloomington.

It’s possible that car crashes increase in the fall months due to football and soccer games, as well as the beginning of basketball games.

Moore went to Alaska to work for the Alaska Department of Natural Resources to install weather stations and catalog inventory.

On Sunday at 11:01 p.m., emergency services were dispatched to the local IGA, where it was determined that a Chevy Trailblazer, driven by Amanda Beaver, struck the building.

Because of the foggy weather, care flight couldn’t respond to the crash. Both drivers were taken to IU health Bloomington hospital, where Katrena Cunningham died from her injuries.

The accused driver wasn’t hurt but was transported to a local hospital as a precaution, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. The deputy had a cut to his wrist.

The collision just before 9 a.m. killed Chad M. Stafford, 37, and Stephen R. Stafford, II, 42, both of Anderson, said Madison County Coroner Dr. Troy Abbott.
