A 41-year-old woman from Seymour was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.

Anna Grove was headed east on U.S. 50 (East Tipton Street) in Jackson County. While attempting to make a left turn onto Stevens Way, her car entered the path of a box truck headed west on U.S. 50, police said.

The truck collided with the passenger side of Grove’s car in the middle of the intersection. Grove was taken by ambulance to Schneck Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

The truck driver, 55-year-old David Gosman from Greenfield, was not injured.

Toxicology results are pending, but investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
