A driver in a pickup truck crashed into an apartment complex Friday morning.

Bloomington Police are investigating a crash that destroyed several apartment complexes and caused minor injuries in downtown Bloomington.

Police responded around 8 a.m. Friday to the intersection of 10th Street and North Walnut Street. They said the driver of a beige Volkswagen was traveling east on 10th Street and drove through the intersection when she did not have the green light. First responders treated the driver for minor injuries.

The second driver, in a white Ford pickup truck, was headed north on North Walnut and drove through the intersection’s green light.

Several units of Fox Row Apartments were damaged after the truck driver drove off the road.
