Democrat Matt Fyfe is the winner of Indiana’s 9 th Congressional District.
Fyfe is a math teacher at Bloomington High School North, and this is his first time running for public office.
Fyfe is pro-choice and in favor of tightening gun regulation. He is also an advocate for public schools and long-term student success. He said he wants education policy written “for everyday people.”
Indiana’s 9 th District consists of 17 and one-third counties: Brown, Clark, Dearborn, Decatur, Floyd, Franklin, Harrison, Jackson, Jennings, Jefferson, Lawrence, Monroe, Ohio, Ripley, Scott, Switzerland, and Washington counties, with part of southern Bartholomew County.
