The holidays are coming early this year for Hoosier skiers and snowboarders. Perfect North Slopes is open for the season starting Tuesday.
The Lawrenceburg ski area announced its early opening on social media Monday. Freezing temperatures enabled Perfect North to begin manufacturing snow last week, according to posts from its Twitter account.
Opening Day is Tuesday, November 22nd! Ski and snowboard from 9:30 AM until 9:30 PM. Snow Tubing will open later in the 22/23 winter season. Perfect North is offering “Bonus Day” lift ticket and equipment rental discounts for guests who come to ski or snowboard before November 27. The slopes will be closed Thursday when the temperature is projected to hit 60 degrees but will reopen Friday.
Southern Indiana’s other commercial ski slope, Paoli Peaks, has not yet announced an opening date.
