Megabus, Miller Transportation partnership to connect Bloomington to 15 destinations

A new partnership between Hoosier Ride’s parent company and one of North America’s largest bus services will introduce new bus routes connecting Bloomington to several other towns and cities.

Megabus says its collaboration with Miller Transportation will link Bloomington to 15 locations including Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville, Ky., and Nashville, Tenn., starting next Wednesday.

It will also bring expanded service options for 56 cities, including many in and around the Midwest.

The expanded service will connect Bloomington to the following places:

  • Bedford
  • Chicago
  • Evansville
  • Gary
  • Hammond
  • Indianapolis
  • Lafayette
  • Louisville, Ky.
  • Merrillville
  • Nashville, Tenn.
  • Orleans
  • Owensboro, Ky.
  • Paoli
  • Spencer
  • Terre Haute

Also included in the new service options are the following:

  • 23 connections with Chicago
  • 13 connections with Detroit
  • 32 connections with Indianapolis
  • 24 connections with Louisville, Ky.
  • Seven connections with Nashville, Tenn.
  • 13 connections with Memphis, Tenn.

Other Megabus stops in Indiana include Anderson, Corydon, Elkhart, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Kokomo, Martinsville, Muncie, Pendleton, Peru, Plymouth, Richmond, Rochester, South Bend and Warsaw.

Megabus offers service to and from many major cities across the Midwest, mid-Atlantic and southern regions of the U.S. and in Canada.

Passengers can board at the Miller bus stop at the Bloomington Downtown Transit Center, 301 S. Walnut St.

Miller Transportation offers service to states including Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee.
