Kalao Restaurant & Nightclub is temporarily closed after its alcohol license was suspended for five days due to an administrative violation.
The suspension runs from March 28 to April 2, according to the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission.
The violation was issued under Public Nuisance, Indiana Administrative Code 905 IAC 1-27-2. This section notes licensed establishments can be suspended for “acts or conduct” that are prohibited by the Indiana Penal Code.
Kalao was temporarily closed for a few days last year after a shooting in the nightclub where four people were shot.
