On August 1, the Bryan Park pool manager noticed that someone had broken in and items were missing. The police and the manager determined that someone climbed over the fence and tried to open the south doors of the concessions room. They were not able to get the doors open. However, they were able to force a small window open.

The items stolen include more than a dozen packages of hot dogs, along with chips, candy and drinks. The case remains under investigation.
