The National Weather Service confirmed at least one tornado touched down in Indiana early Monday morning.

According to the NWS Louisville office, an EF-1 tornado touched down in Dubois County near Haysville.

Many trees were reported down on US 150 in Paoli. Photos and videos on social media show damage to roofs and windows of many buildings in the downtown area.

Danny Hickman, a representative of the Paoli town council, said no fatalities were reported but there were a few minor injuries.

He estimated that about 1600 electric meters are currently offline. French Lick and Salem also are experiencing power outages, according to Duke Energy’s outage map.

Paoli Community Schools canceled classes for the day, while other districts had a two-hour delay.
