A Monrovia man was shot by another hunter while squirrel hunting in the Morgan-Monroe State Forest Tuesday.

William Long, 72, was transported to Morgan County Hospital in good condition and later released, according to a statement from the Indiana DNR.

Agencies involved include IU Health Ambulance and the Monroe County Fire Dept.
