The Indiana University police are investigating an aggravated battery at the Alpha Sigma Phi house on Sept. 24.

Around midnight in the parking lot, five non-affiliated house members were asked to leave the premises, according to IUPD public information officer Hannah Skibba.

The group refused to leave and started yelling. During the altercation, an IU student was struck in the back of the head with an unknown object. The student suffered a laceration and a concussion. The five men fled in a dark-colored Dodge Charger.

The IUPD crime log lists the incident under aggravated battery and criminal recklessness.
