A new clinic has opened for Bloomington city employees. Everside Health cut the ribbon Monday with Mayor John Hamilton and city staff.

The clinic aims to lessen patient wait times.

“Health care is difficult to access in the Bloomington area, with patients sometimes having to wait weeks or months for an appointment,” Hamilton said in a news release. “This clinic will improve access to health care for City employees and their families, saving time and money, and promoting health, wellness, and positive outcomes.”

The clinic is available to anybody on the city’s health insurance plan, including families. The clinic offers walk-ins and appointments, as well as virtual health options.

It provides a wide range of services, including primary care, labs, physicals, mental health treatment and fitness and nutrition coaching.

City employees also will have access to five other Everside clinics in Bedford, Martinsville, Indianapolis, Seymour and Terre Haute.

The clinic is located at 514 W. 2nd St. Appointments can be scheduled through the Everside Health website or by calling 812-628-2050.
