Beta Sigma Psi fraternity has been placed on cease and desist for hazing. The fraternity is the second Greek organization placed on cease and desist this semester.
The fraternity was originally on cease and desist for sexual harassment, forced consumption of substances, and physical abuse, which was changed Tuesday morning to just hazing. The organization was already on disciplinary probation for dishonest conduct, harassment, and hazing since Jan. 19.
Five organizations are on cease and desist this semester; the designation means there is an immediate threat or an ongoing investigation.
