IU students can redeem free eclipse celebration tickets

Indiana University Bloomington is opening Memorial Stadium to students and the public for the April 8 Total Solar Eclipse.
Indiana University Bloomington is opening Memorial Stadium to students and the public for the April 8 Total Solar Eclipse.

Indiana University students are eligible for two free tickets to the April 8 Hoosier Cosmic Celebration at Memorial Stadium. 

Students can either use a promo code to obtain two free tickets or upgrade their existing tickets using a code sent to their student email. The promo code will be applied while in Ticketmaster. Without the promo code, tickets start at $15 for students and $19 for the public.

The Hoosier Cosmic Celebration will feature a performance by Janelle Monàe, and appearances from Star Trek actor William Shatner and Mae Jemison, the first woman of color to travel to space. There will also be performances by the Marching Hundred, IU BFA students, and entertainment from DJ Iman Tucker.
