Little 500: Black Key Bulls, Kappa Alpha Theta take top prizes

The IU Student Foundation reported more than 15,000 fans turned out for the Little 500 races in Bloomington over the weekend. 

The Black Key Bulls Cycling team won first place at the 73rd men’s event on Saturday.

The  win was the third for Black Key Bulls, which failed to qualify last year. 

The Cutters came in second, and Delta Tau Delta took third.

At the 2023 race, the Cutters took first and Delta Tau Delta won second.

At the 36th women’s race, held Friday, Kappa Alpha Theta won its ninth trophy.

The team came in eighth in 2023.

Teter came in second place for the second year in a row, while third place went to Delta Gamma, which placed fourth in 2023.

Melanzana, which won first in both 2022 and 2023, took fourth place.
