The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single engine plane crash Tuesday. The plane went down in the 7000 block of West Seymour Road in Columbus. Two occupants were able to exit the aircraft.

The plane "crashed into a fence post during a low pass and became inverted," according to the Federal Aviation Administration incident notice. The FAA said the plane was a Zenith STOL CH750.

The Southwest Fire Department also responded and confirmed no injuries.
