Police agencies search Sun Flower 99 Spa in Ellettsville

Multiple law enforcement agencies served a search warrant on Sun Flower 99 Spa in Ellettsville on Friday.

The warrant was the result of an investigation started last year due to “accusations of illegal activity at the business” in Richland Plaza, according to an Ellettsville Police Department press release.

Monroe County Deputy Prosecutor Jeff Kehr said in a statement, “I really cannot comment on it since it’s a pending investigation. I can tell you that no one has been charged yet.”

The press release said information “on the investigation, possible charges and further action will be released in the near future.”

Ellettsville Police Department is leading the investigation, along with the Monroe County Prosecutor’s Office.

Members of the Bloomington Police Department, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Indiana Department of Revenue, Battle Ground Police Department and IU Health Bloomington Hospital participated in the search on Friday.
